What's the deal with no treats for cats?
Rest assured, cat treats are coming in the future! The reality is that it’s just not as easy to make human treats that cats can eat, and we’re still working on that. I’m sure you’ve heard that cats can be finicky eaters, but our humans have been tough to please too.
How long will More Tomorrows Treats be available?
Our human treats that dogs can eat will be available for purchase in our online stores throughout the duration of our 2023 capital fundraising campaign. Although there is no firm end date at this time, we will announce a closing date when we reach our 2023 budget needs. Please note that these products are not regularly sold or available on a day by day basis, and only capital-campaign related.
What is a presale campaign and why don't you have treats immediately available?
Our More Tomorrows Treats are what would be considered a presale campaign. That means that we’re taking orders and payment in advance, and manufacturing after we’ve compiled all orders and funds. The reason why we need to have a presale campaign is because we simply don’t have the funds to manufacture in advance. In future years we plan to obtain lines of credit to facilitate earlier manufacturing; however as a first campaign that wasn’t available to us this time around.

When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged at the time of pre-ordering your treats. These funds will be held in trust until our order is placed with the manufacturer and we need to pay their initial invoice for production of the goods.
Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
All orders are cancellable until we place our order with the manufacturer, at which time we are no long able to permit refunds and all orders will be final and binding. Refunds will be credited back ONLY to the credit cards they were charged.
Do you have an estimated shipping date?
To ensure we can provide the lowest possible price while raising sufficient revenue for the organization, we will place our manufacturing order as we reach our agreed upon production volumes. When the order is placed, the manufacturer will confirm their production schedule at that time, and we will communicate that to all supporters.
Although we would love to give you an exact time frame, it is entirely dependent on how quickly orders accumulate to hit our production volumes, and when the manufacturer can fit us into their production cycles.
Every customer will be sent the latest updates until you receive your treats!!!

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer free shipping to ensure that every dollar possible goes to our mission. To keep shipping costs low for our supporters, we’ve negotiated some of the best rates possible and passing those right along to you.

How do I make a donation?
Are you a registered charity or a non-profit and what is the difference?
The American Pet Cancer Foundation is an Arizona-registered non-profit corporation, in the process of applying for our 501(c)(3) status. Our timeline for filing the application is in November 2022; however we do not have an estimated time for approval from the IRS.
The Canadian Pet Cancer Foundation is a Federally-registered non-profit corporation, in the process of applying for our charitable status in Canada. Our timeline for filing the application is November 2022; however we do not have an estimated time for approval from Revenue Canada.
The main tangible difference between a charity and a non-profit is the ability to provide a tax receipt to a donor, and for that donor to receive a taxable deduction on their earned income.
As previously explained in the “Can/how do I make a donation?” faq above, we are not accepting donations until our applications have been received and eligible for tax receipts. This is why the sales of goods is so important to us; those are not eligible for tax receipts, but will be non-taxable income based on our current legal status.
For the organization, both charities and non-profits do not permit inurement to the directors that run them, which means that neither type of organization may use its income or assets to directly or indirectly benefit an individual that has a close relationship with the nonprofit.
Has PCF raised any money so far, and what did you do with it?
How will the Pet Cancer Foundation spend the money it receives?
We’re really happy you care enough to ask that question, and it’s one that everyone should ask before supporting any organization.

Can you tell me when the next fundraiser will be?
Our More Tomorrows Treats Campaign will be an annual event, with some surprises throughout the year. All treats sold will be strictly campaign-related and always tied to either research, programs or services we plan to launch to support pets. You will not be able to buy treats regularly so ensure you buy lots while they last.
In regards to other fundraising activities, there will be new and exciting ways to support the organization launched quarterly throughout the year and we have announcements forthcoming through the media and through our own email subscription, which can be found in the footer throughout all of our websites.
