Nadia Hirani, DVM

Dr. Hirani completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences, with honors at the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney, Australia. Upon graduation she pursued work for a short time in Australia before returning to Canada where she worked in general and emergency practices. She is the founder and Medical Director of Embleton Veterinary Hospital and Copenhagen Veterinary Mobile Services providing locum services to the Greater Toronto Area, Mississauga, Brampton, Peel and Durham Regions.

Dr. Hirani is a woman entrepreneur and a leader in client and youth education. She is active within the Ismaili Muslim community within the Ismaili Council for Ontario Health Board and Aga Khan Education Board, and is the volunteer veterinarian and founder of Pawz4Cause.org an initiative for accessible veterinary care for the vulnerable and homeless population.

Advisory Board members sometimes work with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology, and life sciences companies, and other organizations outside of PCF, to find safe and effective cancer treatments, to improve patient care, and to educate the health care community.
